As I was looking in the dollar store for some items to use in my soap experiments I came across this. It is actually a piece of trash. I believe some of the glasses for sale came in this tray. It looks like it will make a good soap mold. I'm going to try it at least.

Isn't it fun to find soap molds in unusual places? Soaping makes you look at everything as a potential mold! I pick up lots of stuff in the baking aisle of craft stores- silicone baking pans, candy molds, fondant/cookie cutters, etc. Have fun! (By the way, nice blog! I found you via Michelle/Melusine Soaps.)
ReplyDeleteI willalways be on the look out now. Nice to meet you Wonder Turtle Soaps!
ReplyDeleteHehe this reminds me of me when I'm out food shopping. Instead of looking at products with a view to eat them, I'm looking at their packaging to see if it's suitable to use as a soap mould!
